San Diego’s premier luxury art gallery, THE LA JOLLA GALLERY provides the exhibition and education of emerging and mid-career contemporary artists. Through color, form and application THE LA JOLLA GALLERY prides itself on the representation of artists that draw from earlier periods as inspiration for their current works. This rich background both fundamentally and creatively creates value to their works that will continue to develop throughout art history. With a solid mixture of contemporary abstract and figurative pieces, there is a cohesion in genre but a unique nature to each artists process and application. The emphasis on the creation of each work is what truly separates a simply aesthetically pleasing piece to one of increased value and attention. Artists shown are represented amongst the nations top galleries and are collected in both private and corporate collections around the world. Our space
When we took over this space at 1274 Prospect our vision was clear, a clean and contemporary space was what we set out to accomplish. With walls to build, walls to extract and walls to paint it proved to be a much bigger project than we anticipated but came with a big reward. The gallery is a space that must do one thing perfectly and that is let the art do what it needs to do. With a unique multi room floor plan, the interior sparks energy and warmth throughout. With our Collectors seen as a family, we were fortunate to transform the upstairs area to create a Collectors Lounge where the celebration of acquisitions is had by all. With the wonders of technology, the lounge also provides Apple TV for more in depth projects where entire collections from the Artist can be viewed for selection. The selection of artists boasts some of the most accomplished in the art world so it was imperative that the placement of works both made sense and and fit into the wall spaces provided. The result is a gallery that is welcoming, progressive and truly one of a kind.
